WeDo Business Services Ltd seeks an experienced Commercial Electrical Project Manager to lead delivery of electrical packages on office, retail, and mixed-use developments in the UK. You will ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

The role requires strong technical knowledge of electrical systems and excellent coordination with main contractors, consultants, and subcontractors. A leadership mindset and regulatory awareness are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager within commercial construction.
• Strong technical knowledge of commercial electrical systems and installations.
• Experience delivering office fit-outs, retail units, or large-scale commercial developments.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications.
• Strong understanding of project planning, cost control, and contract management.

Responsibilities

• Manage electrical works across commercial construction projects from pre-construction through to completion.
• Review drawings, specifications, and tender documents to ensure project feasibility and accuracy.
• Coordinate with main contractors, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and labour forecasts.
• Oversee installation of electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, fire alarms, and data/communications.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, codes, and health & safety standards.
• Conduct site inspections and monitor quality and progress.
• Manage procurement of materials and subcontractor packages.
• Lead testing, commissioning, and project handover processes.
• Identify risks and resolve technical and operational issues efficiently.
• Provide regular progress reports to clients and senior management.

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Electrical Project Manager to lead the delivery of electrical packages on commercial construction projects.
