Job summary

RTL Group Ltd seeks an experienced Electrical Project Manager for a major commercial project. You will lead electrical packages from inception to handover, manage programmes, budgets, and quality, and coordinate with site teams and subcontractors.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to deliver to tight deadlines on a large-scale construction project.

Qualifications

Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager within commercial construction.
Strong knowledge of commercial electrical installations and building services.
Demonstrable experience managing projects from pre-construction through to completion.
Strong understanding of project programmes, procurement, cost control, and subcontractor management.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver to tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

Manage electrical projects from inception through to successful completion.
Take responsibility for programme, budget, quality, and delivery of electrical packages.
Manage electrical subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams.
Coordinate electrical works with the wider construction programme and other trades.
Review drawings, specifications, programmes, and technical documentation.
Attend project and client meetings, providing regular progress updates.
Monitor project costs, variations, procurement, and commercial performance.
Ensure electrical works are delivered safely and in accordance with relevant regulations and project standards.
Oversee testing, commissioning, snagging, and final handover.
