Job summary

A major national construction company is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee electrical works on a government refurbishment scheme in Westminster. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to manage the delivery of electrical installations within a live refurbishment environment.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in the building services/M&E sector, strong leadership skills, and relevant electrical qualifications.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager within the building services / M&E sector.
• Experience delivering electrical refurbishment projects, ideally within live or occupied buildings.
• Strong knowledge of electrical installations, project delivery, commercial management and health & safety.

Responsibilities

• Manage the delivery of electrical installation works from pre-construction through to completion and handover.
• Oversee project programmes, budgets, resources and subcontractors to ensure works are delivered safely and efficiently.
• Coordinate with the client, consultants, internal teams and other trades to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Ensure all electrical works comply with relevant legislation, specifications, quality standards and health & safety requirements.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and implement effective solutions.
• Manage procurement, materials and subcontractor packages, ensuring works remain on programme and within budget.
• Attend progress meetings and provide regular updates to the client and senior management.
• Oversee commissioning, snagging, documentation and final handover.

Our client is a major national construction and engineering company with an established presence across the UK. They are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join their team, overseeing electrical works on a government framework refurbishment scheme based in Westminster.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Electrical Project Manager to take responsibility for the successful delivery of electrical installations within a live refurbishment environment.
