Job summary

Bennett & Game Recruitment Ltd is working with a well-established contractor to recruit an Electrical Project Manager – HV/LV Installations based at the Derbyshire head office, with sites across the UK.

You will manage electrical infrastructure projects from inception to completion, with values up to £500k, across commercial and industrial sectors. A strong HV/LV background, travel nationwide and a full UK driving license are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering HV/LV installation/refurbishment projects.
• Knowledge of substations, transformers, armoured cabling and switchgear.
• Able to travel nationwide within commutable distance of Derbyshire.
• Holder of a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Managing electrical infrastructure projects from inception to completion across commercial and industrial sectors.
• Overseeing HV/LV installation, upgrade and maintenance projects at sites.
• Overseeing installation and commissioning of transformers, substations, HV/LV switchgear, cabling and containment.
• Ensuring health and safety on site and compliant completion of projects.
• Travel to sites across the UK from Derbyshire head office.

Position: Electrical Project Manager – HV/LV Installations

Location: Derbyshire office, with sites across the UK

We currently have an opportunity available to join a well-established contractor with over 20 year’s experience offering design, installation and maintenance services for HV & LV systems across the commercial and industrial sector.

Electrical Project Manager Job Overview

• Managing electrical infrastructure projects from inception to completion across the commercial and industrial sectors, with project values ranging anywhere from £1k to £500k
• Working on a variety of installation, upgrade and maintenance projects of HV & LV systems within agricultural sites, quarries and supermarkets, with systems ranging anywhere from 41V to 33kV
• Overseeing site activities including the installation and commissioning of transformers, substations, HV/LV switchgear, cabling, containment and associated electrical equipment
• Managing the overall health and safety on site, and the compliance/efficient completion of projects
• Working from the company’s head office in Derbyshire and travelling out to sites across the UK

Electrical Project Manager Job Requirements

• Strong technical background within the electrical infrastructure sector, with experience delivering on a range of HV & LV installation/refurbishment projects
• Good knowledge of electrical infrastructure equipment including substations, transformers, armoured cabling, and switchgear systems
• Based within a commutable distance of Derbyshire and happy to travel nationwide
• Hold a full UK driving licence
