A leading engineering company based in the UK is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the delivery of electrical power distribution projects. The role requires managing project execution from planning to commissioning, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, and maintaining stakeholder relations. Ideal candidates will have a proven track record in electrical infrastructure projects, strong leadership skills, and relevant health and safety qualifications. Frequent site presence is required for this position.

Qualifications

• Strong experience delivering electrical infrastructure or power distribution projects.
• Background within energy, utilities, grid infrastructure or HV construction environments.
• Knowledge of NEC or FIDIC contract frameworks.
• Health & Safety qualification such as SMSTS, NEBOSH or IOSH.
• Ability to coordinate complex site activities while maintaining high safety standards.
• Experience on National Grid or utility infrastructure projects.

A well established engineering business delivering HV infrastructure across the UK is looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of electrical power distribution projects.

This is a site based role, managing the planning, coordination and execution of HV infrastructure works from construction through to commissioning.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead the delivery of HV electrical infrastructure projects from planning through execution
• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets and resource plans
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and site teams
• Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and industry standards
• Manage project financials including forecasting and cost control
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies
• Maintain strong communication with clients, stakeholders and regulatory bodies
• Monitor project progress to ensure scope, cost and timelines remain on track
