Job summary

Bennett And Game Recruitment is seeking an Electrical Project Manager based at our Derbyshire head office with nationwide site travel. You will manage electrical infrastructure projects from inception through completion, covering HV & LV installations, transformers, substations, and switchgear.

You will ensure health and safety on site and drive timely, compliant project delivery across commercial and industrial sectors, working from Derbyshire with travel to various UK sites.

Qualifications

• Strong technical background in electrical infrastructure; HV & LV projects.
• Experience delivering electrical installation/refurbishment projects.
• Willingness to travel nationwide and commute from Derbyshire.

Responsibilities

• Manage electrical infrastructure projects from inception to completion.
• Oversee installation, commissioning of transformers, substations, HV/LV switchgear.
• Ensure health & safety compliance on site and timely project delivery.
• Liaise with sites across the UK from Derbyshire head office.

Position: Electrical Project Manager

Location: Derbyshire office, with sites across the UK

Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 (DOE)

Job Overview

• Managing electrical infrastructure projects from inception to completion across the commercial and industrial sectors, with project values ranging anywhere from £1k to £500k.
• Working on a variety of installation, upgrade and maintenance projects of HV & LV systems within agricultural sites, quarries and supermarkets, with systems ranging anywhere from 41V to 33kV.
• Overseeing site activities including the installation and commissioning of transformers, substations, HV/LV switchgear, cabling, containment and associated electrical equipment.
• Managing the overall health and safety on site, and the compliance/efficient completion of projects.
• Working from the company's head office in Derbyshire and travelling out to sites across the UK.

Job Requirements

• Strong technical background within the electrical infrastructure sector, with experience delivering on a range of HV & LV installation/refurbishment projects.
• Good knowledge of electrical infrastructure equipment including substations, transformers, armoured cabling, and switchgear systems.
• Based within a commutable distance of Derbyshire and happy to travel nationwide.
• Hold a full UK driving licence.
