Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking an experienced Project Manager to deliver multi-task building services projects, from design through to commissioning and invoicing. You will manage budgets, procurement, contractors, and RAMS to ensure compliant delivery.

The role requires strong leadership, risk management and clear communication with stakeholders across facilities management environments.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in project management.
• Proven track record delivering multi-task building services projects.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and safe working practices.
• CDM experience for effective project running.
• Minimum engineering qualification of NVQ level 4 or equivalent.
• Minimum engineering qualification of NVQ level 4 or equivalent.
• Good knowledge of management disciplines in Electrical works.
• Experience in a supervisory environment with electrical works as a component responsibility.
• Commercially aware with budget preparation, negotiation and management.
• Strong people management, leadership, decision-making and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering service to design, plan and manage minor site refurbishment and equipment installations.
• Prepare specifications briefs in consultation with staff.
• Tender works in line with Procurement Policy.
• Manage quotations, approvals and purchase orders.
• Prepare budget costs and maintain budgetary control.
• Appoint and manage consultants and specialist contractors.
• Oversee work from design to commissioning, handover and invoicing.
• Ensure RAMS are suitable and adhered to, whether subcontracted or in-house.
• Maintain records for client audits and invoicing.
• Ensure appropriate record keeping is maintained and available for Client audits.
• Manage all Health and Safety matters (CDM) in accordance with procedures and current relevant legislation.

About The Role:

• To provide an engineering service to design, plan and project manage minor site refurbishment and equipment installations
• Prepare specifications briefs in consultation with staff
• Tender works in line with our Procurement Policy
• Manage quotation submission to client and gain approvals / purchase orders
• Prepare budget costs and ongoing budgetary control
• Appoint and manage consultants and other specialist contractors
• Manage work through to effective completion and submit for invoicing
• Ensure all RAMS are suitable and sufficient whether work is subcontracted or delivered by an in house team and are in place and adhered to
• Manage projects from input to design specification, tender, installation to commissioning, practical completion, handover and invoicing
• Ensure appropriate record keeping in maintained and available for Client audits
• Manage all Health and Safety matters (CDM) in accordance with procedures and current relevant legislation

About you:

• Proven experience in Project Management
• Proven track record to the successful delivery of multi task building services related projects
• Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and safe working practices
• Hold sufficient Health and Safety (CDM) experience that allows the effective running of projects.
• To have a minimum engineering qualification of NVQ level 4 or equivalent.
• Good, knowledge of Management disciplines in Electrical works
• Have experience in a Supervisory environment with Electrical works as a component responsibility.
• Be commercially aware and have a sound knowledge of budget preparation, negotiation and management.
• Have good people management, leadership, decision-making and communications skills.
