Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking an experienced project manager to design, plan and deliver minor refurbishment and equipment installations. You will prepare briefs with staff, tender works and manage budgets and approvals through to handover.

You will ensure RAMS/CDM compliance, supervise electrical works, and coordinate consultants and contractors to achieve on time, on budget delivery with strong stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering multi-task building services projects.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and CDM requirements.
• Minimum engineering qualification NVQ level 4 or equivalent.
• Experience supervising electrical works and managing budgets.
• Strong leadership, decision-making and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide project management for minor site refurbishments and equipment installs.
• Prepare specifications briefs with staff and tender works per policy.
• Manage budgets, invoices, approvals and client PO process.
• Appoint/oversee consultants and contractors; ensure completion and handover.
• Maintain RAMS and CDM compliance and record keeping for audits.

About The Role: To provide an engineering service to design, plan and project manage minor site refurbishment and equipment installations Prepare specifications briefs in consultation with staff Tender works in line with our Procurement Policy Manage quotation submission to client and gain approvals / purchase orders Prepare budget costs and ongoing budgetary control Appoint and manage consultants and other specialist contractors Manage work through to effective completion and submit for invoicing Ensure all RAMS are suitable and sufficient whether work is subcontracted or delivered by an in house team and are in place and adhered to Manage projects from input to design specification, tender, installation to commissioning, practical completion, handover and invoicing Ensure appropriate record keeping in maintained and available for Client audits Manage all Health and Safety matters (CDM) in accordance with procedures and current relevant legislation About you: Proven experience in Project
Management Proven track record to the successful delivery of multi task building services related projects Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and safe working practices Hold sufficient Health and Safety (CDM) experience that allows the effective running of projects. To have a minimum engineering qualification of NVQ level 4 or equivalent. Good, knowledge of Management disciplines in Electrical works Have experience in a Supervisory environment with Electrical works as a component responsibility. Be commercially aware and have a sound knowledge of budget preparation, negotiation and management. Have good people management, leadership, decision-making and communications skills.
