Job summary

Derygate Ltd in Cannock seeks an Electrical Project Manager to lead delivery of high-value Building Services projects across schools, universities and healthcare sectors in the Midlands. You will own projects from pre-contract to final account, manage multi-million pound schemes, and coordinate design, procurement, installation and commissioning while maintaining H&S standards.

• Proven background in construction as Electrical Project Manager or related roles.
• ONC/HNC/HND in Building Services (desirable).
• Strong organisational skills with ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Attend client and internal meetings across all project stages.
• Manage multiple live projects up to £5M in value.
• Assist with design and lead procurement.
• Support surveying, oversee installation and commissioning.
• Ensure Health & Safety compliance on sites.
• Oversee site engineering staff, supervisors and subcontractors.
• Review main and sub-contract documentation.
• Assist with finalising project accounts.

The Company

A well-established Building Services contractor is expanding and looking to appoint an Electrical Project Manager to join their team in Cannock. This is an excellent opportunity for a someone who wants to beworking across high-value Schools, University, and Healthcare projects in the Midlands.

The Role

As Electrical Project Manager, you will take ownership of project delivery from pre-contract through to final account, managing multiple projects valued up to £5 million.

Key responsibilities include:

• Attending client and internal meetings across all project stages - pre-contract, progress, commissioning, and post-contract
• Managing multiple live projects simultaneously, up to £5M in value
• Assisting with design and leading the procurement process
• Supporting surveying activities and overseeing installation and commissioning
• Managing Health & Safety compliance across sites
• Overseeing site engineering staff, supervisors, and subcontractors
• Reviewing and interpreting Main and Sub-Contract documentation
• Assisting with finalising project accounts

About You

• Proven background in the Construction industry as an Electrical Project Manager, Electrical Contract Manager, Electrical Project Engineer, Electrical Contract Engineer or Electrical Project Manager.
• ONC/HNC/HND qualification in Building Services (desirable)
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
• Solid understanding of contract documentation and commercial processes
