Job summary

Involve Recruitment is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead the delivery of large electrical installations across Healthcare, Industrial and Commercial sectors in the Midlands. The successful candidate will drive project success from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring safety, programme adherence and budget control.

You will be the senior member of the project team, responsible for client liaison, mentoring site and office staff, and delivering top quality

Responsibilities

• Manage the successful delivery of large scale electrical projects from pre-construction to completion.
• Lead project teams including site managers, engineers and subcontractors.
• Attend client and progress meetings with confidence and professionalism.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and supply chain partners.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.
• Collaborate with the commercial team on cost control, variations and reporting.
• Oversee procurement, programming, labour planning and resource allocation.
• Monitor project performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and profitability.
• Ensure compliance with current regulations, quality standards and health & safety requirements.

Are you an experienced Electrical Project Manager looking for the next step in your career?

My client is a successful Mechanical & Electrical Contractor with a steady reputation for delivering large scale Healthcare, Industrial and Commercial projects throughout the Midlands.

Due to continued growth and a strong project pipeline, they are looking to appoint an ambitious Electrical Project Manager who is ready to take on a more senior position

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has successfully delivered high value electrical installations and is now looking for greater responsibility, further client liaison and a clear pathway into a Senior Project Management role.

The Role

You will be responsible for managing the electrical delivery of large projects from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest standards.

As a senior member of the project team, you will be expected to lead from the front, build strong client relationships and provide support and guidance to both site based and office teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the successful delivery of large scale electrical projects
• Lead project teams including Site Managers, Supervisors, Engineers and subcontractors
• Attend client and progress meetings with confidence
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and supply chain partners
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget
• Work closely with the commercial team, contributing to cost control, variations, valuations and project reporting.
• Oversee procurement, programming, labour planning and resource allocation
• Monitor project performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and profitability
• Ensure all work complies with current regulations, quality standards and health & safety requirements.
