Job summary

Derygate Ltd is recruiting a Mechanical Project Manager to join our Cannock team. You will take ownership of project delivery from pre-contract through final account, leading the Mechanical package on high-value schemes in Schools, Universities, and Healthcare across the Midlands.

Responsibilities include design input, procurement leadership, and maintaining H&S across sites while coordinating site engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors to ensure successful project outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering projects up to £5 million.
• Strong procurement and surveying experience.
• Good understanding of building services contracts.
• Excellent organizational and multi-project management skills.

• Reviewing and interpreting Main and Sub-Contract documentation.

The Company

A well-established Building Services contractor is expanding and looking to appoint a Mechanical Project Manager to join their team in Cannock. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to work across high-value Schools, University, and Healthcare projects in the Midlands.

The Role

As Mechanical Project Manager, you will take ownership of project delivery from pre-contract through to final account, managing multiple projects valued up to £5 million. Key responsibilities include:

About You

• Proven background in the Construction industry as a Mechanical Project Manager, Mechanical Contract Manager, Mechanical Project Engineer, or Mechanical Contract Engineer


• ONC/HNC/HND qualification in Building Services (desirable)


• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently


• Solid understanding of contract documentation and commercial processes
