Job summary

Core Group is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager for a major M&E contractor on a pharmaceutical campus in Windlesham, Surrey. The role covers delivery from inception to handover, with a focus on LV distribution, lighting, power and containment within a commercial environment.

You will lead site teams, manage stakeholders, ensure safety, programme and budget compliance, and oversee commissioning and handover, with immediate interview availability.

Qualifications

• Proven track record as Electrical Project Manager within the M&E sector.
• Experience delivering commercial projects from pre-construction through to handover.
• Strong understanding of LV distribution, lighting, power, containment and electrical building services systems.

Contract option available: £400 - £450 per day

We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join a leading M&E contractor delivering works on a pharmaceutical campus in Windlesham.

This role would suit an Electrical Project Manager with a strong background in commercial construction projects. Previous pharmaceutical or high-level laboratory experience is not essential, as the project is predominantly commercial in nature, incorporating some medical gas installations and associated building services works.

The Role

• Lead and manage electrical building services packages from inception through to completion
• Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, suppliers and client stakeholders
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme and within budget
• Attend and lead project progress meetings
• Oversee commissioning activities and project handover
• Monitor project performance and provide regular reporting to senior management

Requirements

• Proven track record as an Electrical Project Manager within the M&E sector
• Experience delivering commercial projects from pre-construction through to handover
• Strong understanding of LV distribution, lighting, power, containment and electrical building services systems
• Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills
• Experience within pharmaceutical or healthcare environments would be advantageous but is not essential
