Konecranes moves what matters. We are seeking a Project Engineer - Electrical (Modernisations) to join our UK-wide team in a hybrid role. The position focuses on coordinating electrical projects within Modernisations and Installations, travelling across the UK to sites as required.

Ideal candidates are electrically-qualified engineers aiming to advance in a project environment, reporting to the Project Manager and supporting daily project tasks with resource coordination and safety planning.

Qualifications

• HNC/NVQ Level 3 Electrical Engineering qualification.
• Willing and able to travel across the UK, including overnight stays.
• Proficient with MS Office and capable of working independently.

Responsibilities

• Conduct project related tasks independently and support the Project Manager daily.
• Lead sub-projects under supervision of the Project Manager.
• Assist in the preparation of Safety Documentation (SSOW, SSA, RAMS, Lift Planning).
• Ensure the site team has all necessary resources to enable the project to be carried out successfully.
• Meet with the project team (Technicians & Field Supervisors) to ensure responsibilities are understood.
• Manage vendor relationships, relaying information between project management and client.
• Development and innovation: carry out day-to-day project coordination activities and improve current methods where possible.
