Job summary

Konecranes is seeking a Project Engineer - Electrical (Modernisations) for the UK-wide role. You will coordinate activities within the Projects team, ensure costs stay within quoted parameters, and provide progress reports to the Project Manager.

The position requires UK travel, leading sub-projects, and preparing safety documents. It offers hybrid work, a full-time permanent contract, and opportunities to advance in a global leader in material handling.

Qualifications

• HNC/NVQ L3 Electrical Engineering required.
• Commercial acumen essential.
• Must be willing and able to travel across the UK (overnight stays as required).
• IT skills including MS Office.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to problems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project activities, resources and tasks for assigned projects.
• Lead sub-projects under the supervision of the Project Manager.
• Assist in safety documentation (SSOW, SSA, RAMS, Lift Planning) as required.
• Ensure site team has resources to carry out the project.
• Manage vendor relationships and relay information between management and client.
• Coordinate queries and raise concerns with stakeholders, tracking resolutions.
