Job summary

Local authority in Greater Manchester is seeking an electrical officer to join their capital works team for an initial 6-month contract. The role focuses on electrical design, planning, management and delivery of varied projects, including refurbishments and decarbonisation schemes, with experience across building legislation and CDM regulations. Hybrid work is supported (3 days in, 2 days remote).

35 hours per week. £40 per hour umbrella.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering electrical design for refurbishment and new build projects.
• Knowledge of building and planning legislation and CDM regulations.
• Proficient in CAD software and feasibility studies.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for electrical design, planning, management and delivery of projects and programmes.
• Work on diverse schemes including schools, listed buildings, public realm monuments and decarbonisation projects.
