Job summary
Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is seeking a Project Supervisor (Electrical) in Kendal, with a hybrid work arrangement and occasional site travel. The role centers on delivering electrical, control and instrumentation projects and leading site teams to meet timelines and client requirements.
You will coordinate electricians and subcontractors, liaise with clients on technical and commercial queries, and ensure compliance with BS7671 and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Electrical project experience or similar background in industrial/commercial installations.
- Ability to coordinate site teams and subcontractors and liaise with clients on technical queries.
- Knowledge of BS7671 and safety standards; produce and review project documentation.
Responsibilities
- Deliver electrical, control and instrumentation projects from quote to completion
- Manage electricians, site teams and subcontractors
- Liaise with clients on technical and commercial queries
- Produce project, safety and electrical documentation
- Assist with tenders, quotations and material procurement
- Ensure installations meet BS7671 and safety standards
- Attend site and client meetings
- Support and develop the existing workforce
