Job summary

Arup is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer for a 6-month contract in the UK. The role involves leading CE&I teams across multi-disciplinary projects, delivering design and technical support. Hybrid work is available across Leeds, Manchester, Whitehaven, Warrington, Glasgow or Newcastle.

You will mentor engineers, oversee MV/LV design, building services and instrumentation, and ensure compliance with industry standards in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Senior electrical engineer with leadership experience.
• Experience in multi-disciplinary projects and dynamic environments.
• Knowledge of BS 7671 and CDM regulations.

Responsibilities

• MV/LV power design and distribution.
• Building services including fire alarm, security, lighting, earthing, etc.
• Control & Instrumentation systems development and support.
• Strong track record of running project teams.
• Client-facing experience within a construction environment.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
