Job summary

Freedom, part of the NG Bailey Group, is seeking an experienced Electrical Preconstruction Manager in Scotland. You will guide a team of design engineers, lead constructability reviews, and ensure smooth handover from design to construction, with occasional site visits.

The role blends preconstruction and construction leadership, requiring strong knowledge of electrical or civil engineering, safety and project management.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in preconstruction and construction management.
• Lead teams of construction managers, supervisors and site engineers.
• Strong knowledge of construction management, OH&S, and SHEQ.
• HND in Engineering or Construction (or equivalent).
• Health & Safety qualification (SMSTS, IOSH, or NEBOSH).

Responsibilities

• Lead constructability reviews and ensure designs are construction-ready.
• Contribute to project scheduling and quality plans.
• Manage project risk registers and safety files.
• Support design-to-construction transition.
