Job summary

Freedom, part of the NG Bailey Group, is seeking a Preconstruction Manager (Electrical) in Scotland. In this hybrid, permanent role you will lead a design engineering team, drive constructability reviews, and ensure smooth handover from preconstruction to construction across multiple projects.

You will bring a strong background in electrical or civil engineering, with leadership experience in preconstruction and construction management, and a clear path toward chartership.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in preconstruction and construction management.
• Proven ability to lead and manage teams of construction managers, supervisors, and site engineers.
• Strong knowledge of construction management, OH&S, and SHEQ.

Responsibilities

• Lead design & build projects across tender, post-contract award, and construction phases.
• Provide constructability reviews and input into project schedules and quality plans.
• Support transition from design to construction and manage project risk.
