Raven Search is partnering with a Blackpool-based electrical contractor to appoint an Electrical Pre-Construction / Bid Manager. You will lead tendering for the electrical division, deciding which opportunities to pursue and managing estimates, take-offs, and supplier enquiries.

The role offers £70,000 to £80,000 depending on experience, plus a full benefits package, with opportunities to grow the mechanical division and influence client sectors nationally.

Qualifications

• A strong electrical pre-construction, estimating or bid management background in an electrical or M&E contractor.

Responsabilités

• Lead pre-construction and bid activity for the electrical division.
• Review tender opportunities and decide which to pursue based on fit, risk and margin.
• Oversee and prepare electrical estimates, take-offs, and supplier/subcontractor enquiries.
• Produce high-quality bid submissions with methodologies and programmes.
• Build relationships with new main contractors, developers and end clients to widen the client base.
• Support existing client relationships and framework opportunities.
• Present at tender interviews and lead post-tender negotiations.
• Collaborate with the mechanical division on combined M&E bids.
• Hand off awarded work to delivery with a clear understanding of how it was won and priced.
