Job summary

Raven Search is seeking an Electrical Estimator for a national M&E contractor operating from a Warrington base. You will own electrical tenders from enquiry through submission, collaborating with design, commercial and delivery teams to produce accurate, competitive bids.

The role offers £60,000–£70,000 depending on experience, plus a full benefits package and a technically varied project portfolio spanning heritage, healthcare and custodial environments.

Qualifications

• Solid electrical estimating background in an M&E or electrical contracting environment.
• Experience leading electrical tenders independently from enquiry through to submission.
• Experience pricing across a variety of sectors and contract types, including specialist projects.
• Proficient in take-off and measurement with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Taking ownership of electrical tenders from enquiry through to submission.
• Carrying out take-offs and measurement from drawings and specifications to produce cost build-ups.
• Sourcing and negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors to produce competitive pricing.
• Identifying value engineering opportunities and contributing to buildability reviews during tender.
• Working closely with design, commercial and delivery teams to ensure alignment on submissions.
• Pricing electrical packages across a varied mix of sectors and contract types.
