Job summary

Raven Search has a permanent Electrical Estimator role based in the Warrington area, offering a varied project mix across healthcare, education, heritage, and more. You will lead tenders end-to-end, from enquiry through to submission, working with design and delivery teams to ensure competitive, technically robust bids.

Salary ranges from £60,000 to £70,000 depending on experience, with a full benefits package and career progression within a well-resourced pre-construction function.

Qualifications

• Must have solid electrical estimating background within an M&E or electrical contracting environment.
• Proficient in take-offs and measurement from drawings and specifications.
• Strong knowledge of NEC and/or JCT contract forms.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of electrical tenders from enquiry through to submission.
• Produce detailed cost build-ups from drawings and specifications.
• Source and negotiate with suppliers/subcontractors for competitive pricing.
• Identify value engineering opportunities and contribute to buildability reviews.
• Collaborate with design, commercial and delivery teams to align on submissions.
• Price electrical packages across varied sectors and contract types.
• Review contract terms and flag commercial risks before submission.
• Support post-tender negotiations and handover to delivery team.
