Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8am – 5pm

About Airtech

Airtech manufactures a full range of domestic mechanical ventilation systems designed for the Social Housing and Local Authority market. We install bathroom and kitchen fans, provide mould treatment/eradication, and Radon testing.

Role Profile

Are you a hands-on leader with electrical expertise and a passion for people development? We're seeking an Operations Manager (North/Midlands) to lead our team in delivering high-quality services to the social housing sector.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Leading a team of engineers, surveyors, and technicians to deliver safe, efficient, high-quality installations
• Conducting site visits nationwide to coach, support, and audit completed work
• Serving as the electrical expert for your team and stakeholders
• Managing daily operations and fostering a positive, high-performing team culture
• Supporting recruitment, training, and ongoing development of engineers
• Building strong relationships with clients, tenants, and colleagues
• Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety and company standards

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum of 2 years' experience managing a field-based team
• Over 5 years’ electrical experience
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
• C&G 5357 Level 3 Electrotechnical Qualification
• Willingness to travel across the UK regularly and work additional hours when needed
• Understanding of HR processes and conflict management
• Excellent organizational skills for managing stock and coordinating multiple tasks
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to coach and develop team members
• Desirable: Ventilation knowledge/experience
• Knowledge of Health & Safety and Electrical Safe Systems of Work
• First Aid certification in the Workplace
