Job summary

RGB Recruitment Ltd is partnering with a well established regional M&E contractor in Cornwall to appoint an Electrical Contracts/Operations Manager. You will lead the Cornwall base, deliver multiple projects up to £3m, and build a new division in the area.

You will manage client relationships, oversee preconstruction tendering, and lead a small team. The role demands strong electrical knowledge, proven leadership, and the ability to drive delivery across healthcare, education and commercial

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Electrical Contracts or Operations Manager within building services contracting.
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, installation and design principles.
• Full UK driving licence required.
• Experience delivering projects up to £3m in value in healthcare, education or commercial sectors.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new opportunities in the Cornwall region.
• Manage up to 4 schemes concurrently and lead preconstruction/tendering.
• Oversee budgets, procurement and forecasting for the business unit.
• Lead recruitment, coaching and development of staff.
• Ensure health, safety and environmental compliance across projects.
