Job summary

YLEM Power is seeking an Electrical O&M Engineer to safely deliver operations, maintenance, and technical support across a nationwide portfolio of power generation assets. The role targets root-cause analysis and proactive remediation with emphasis on reliability and compliance.

The ideal candidate will perform planned and reactive maintenance, fault response, and core operational activities to meet customer requirements while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Extensive electrical asset maintenance and commissioning experience.
• Strong fault diagnosis and remediation capability.
• Knowledge of UK health & safety regulations and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and maintain site LV electrical equipment to standards.
• Supervise HV switchgear and control system operations.
• Coordinate testing, commissioning, and documentation activities.
• Provide 24/7 call-out support and timely issue resolution.
• Develop training materials and supervise junior staff.
