Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is recruiting an experienced electrical maintenance engineer for a static site near Bordon in the United Kingdom. The role runs Monday to Friday with on-call duties.

The successful candidate will perform PPMs and reactive works, supervise subcontractors, and ensure all paperwork and CAFM/Concept systems are kept up to date. Candidates should be NVQ Level 3 qualified (AM2 if required) with 18th edition, and must have a driving licence.

Qualifications

• Fully electrically qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent with AM2 if required.
• 18th edition wiring regulations.
• Experience working within occupied offices.
• Must have a valid Driving Licence.
• DBS check or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Carry out all PPMs and reactive works on site.
• Ensure work follows task schedules and industry best practices.
• Maintain compliance and follow industry best practices on sites.
• Monitor main plant and equipment within buildings daily.
• Maintain good relationships with employees and clients.
• Promote services and maintain a professional image.
• Supervise subcontractors and ensure contractual commitments are met.
• Manage site logbook and paperwork, keep it up to date.
• Oversee CAFM and Concept systems; complete tasks within SLA.
• Receive and resolve client issues without disrupting business.
• Be prepared for on-call rota for out-of-hours emergencies.

My client is a large Facilities and maintenance company who operate in various sectors across the commercial sector. They are currently looking for an experienced electrical maintenance engineer to join an established team on a static site near Bordon. This role is Mon to Fri.

Responsibilities will include:

• Carry out all PPM's and reactive works on site
• Ensure all work is carried out in line with task schedules and industry best practices
• Ensure the responsible sites are fully compliant and follow industry best practices.
• Daily monitoring and responsibility of all main plant and equipment within buildings
• Establish and maintain a good working relationship with all employees and clients
• Maintain the professional image always, and promote services.
• Ensure All subcontractors are appropriately supervised, and comply with contractual commitments, and site operating processes.
• Ensure you manage the site logbook system and all paperwork is kept up to date
• To oversee the management of the on-site CAFM and Concept systems and ensure all PPM and reactive tasks are completed within SLA.
• Receiving client issues and resolving these issues effectively without disruption to business or compromising client relationships.
• Be prepared for on a call out rota for out of hour's emergency response.

Applicants for the role must possess the following:

• Fully electrically qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent with AM2 if required

• 2391 Test and indpection - highly desirable
• Experience working within occupied offices
