Job summary

Niyaa People is seeking an Electrical Manager to lead site teams and deliver high-standard electrical works across commercial properties in the East Midlands. The role involves owning projects from design through to completion, ensuring regulatory compliance and quality, and coordinating testing and commissioning to guarantee performance.

The position offers hybrid working, a well-established contractor culture focused on safety and customer relationships, and opportunities for progression.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience leading electrical teams.
• Experience on commercial properties.
• 2391 and 18th/NVQ level 3.
• NICEIC certification/experience.
• Strong relationship-building with key client accounts.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all work meets industry regulations, compliance requirements, and quality standards.

As the Electrical Manager, you will be:

• Take ownership of projects from design through to successful completion
• Ensure all work meets industry regulations, compliance requirements, and quality standards
• Conduct testing and commissioning activities to guarantee system performance and reliability
• Serve as the primary liaison for clients, providing expert guidance and maintaining excellent customer relationships throughout the project lifecycle

Electrical Manager qualifications / experience:

• Minimum 5 years' experience leading, supervising, and developing electrical teams
• Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and deliver results under pressure
• Strong relationship-building skills, with experience managing and nurturing key client accounts and stakeholder partnerships
• 2391 and 18th/NVQ level 3
• NICEIC certification/experience
• Experience working on commercial properties
• Experience as a QS is desirable
