Job summary

Tech People in Oxford is seeking an Electrical Project Manager to lead commercial and industrial projects from tender through to completion. You will manage multiple projects, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure safety, quality and programme milestones are achieved.

The role offers a salary up to £75,000 with a company van or car allowance, progression opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package. A time-served electrician with strong budgeting and Excel skills is preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Electrical Project Manager within commercial or industrial projects.
• Time-served Electrician with strong technical knowledge.
• Experience delivering projects from inception through to completion.
• Good commercial awareness with budgeting and programme management skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• NICEIC Qualifying Supervisor/Manager status.
• City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing.

Responsibilities

• Managing multiple commercial and industrial electrical projects simultaneously.
• Preparing competitive tenders and quotations for projects ranging from small works to £1m+.
• Leading projects through every stage, from pre-construction to handover.
• Managing subcontractors, suppliers and site teams.
• Carrying out regular site visits to ensure quality, safety and programme are maintained.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants and key stakeholders.
• Preparing project documentation including progress reports, technical submittals, RFIs and project close-out information.
• Supporting the pre-construction team with surveys, meetings and tender activities.

Are you an experienced Electrical Project Manager looking to take ownership of exciting commercial and industrial projects from tender through to completion?

The Role

As an Electrical Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing projects from initial tender through to final account, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest standard.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing multiple commercial and industrial electrical projects simultaneously

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience as an Electrical Project Manager within commercial or industrial projects
• Time-served Electrician with strong technical knowledge
• Experience delivering projects from inception through to completion
