Job summary

Severn Trent Plc is looking for a permanent Electrical Maintenance Technician to join the East Nottinghamshire area. You will diagnose and resolve electrical faults across sewage treatment works and pumping stations, conducting safety inspections and testing to ensure regulatory compliance.

The role involves proactive and reactive maintenance, installation and servicing of essential equipment, and working a 37-hour week Monday to Friday with standby duties supported by an allowance.

Qualifications

• Must have Full UK Driving Licence.
• Level 3 Electrical qualification or time-served apprenticeship.
• 18th Edition (BS 7671) and BS 2391 Certification are essential requirements.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve electrical faults across assets.
• Carry out site safety inspections and electrical testing.
• Perform routine proactive and reactive maintenance to optimise performance and minimise downtime.
• Assist in installation, servicing and upkeep of treatment equipment at sewage works.
• Work 37 hours per week, Mon-Fri, with standby rota (allowance provided).
