Job summary

LabTech London Limited is seeking an Electrical Engineer to ensure safe, compliant operation of electrical systems across the estate. You will perform PPMs, EICRs, fault finding, repairs and testing as part of the Electrical Maintenance Team.

Key requirements include City & Guilds/NVQ3 in Electrical Installation, BS 7671 compliance, and experience with EICRs and safe isolation. The role emphasizes collaboration with Facilities and external contractors in a busy environment.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering PPM and reactive electrical maintenance.
• Experience with EICRs and related certification.
• Knowledge of UK Electrical Regulations and BS 7671.
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
• Strong understanding of safe isolation procedures and health and safety.
• Professional approach to compliance in occupied, public-facing buildings.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive electrical maintenance per schedules.
• Carry out electrical installation condition reports (EICRs) and related testing/certification.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and rectify electrical faults and equipment malfunctions.
• Maintain LV distribution infrastructure and protective devices.
• Prepare technical reports and recommendations for remedial works.
• Coordinate with Facilities team, contractors and suppliers; manage permits.
