Job summary

Insight Executive Group in London is seeking an experienced Electrician to join a large building services operation in South East London. You will maintain electrical systems across a varied site, performing PPMs, reactive repairs and electrical maintenance to high standards.

The role requires an NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds, 18th Edition, and strong fault-finding skills. Permanent or temp-to-perm positions with 40-hour weeks and 26 days' leave are offered.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds in electrical installation.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• Experience in electrical maintenance within commercial/industrial facilities.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a wider engineering team.
• Good communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on electrical systems and equipment.
• Respond to reactive electrical maintenance and breakdowns.
• Diagnose electrical faults and complete repairs.
• Carry out inspections, testing and remedial works.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard.
• Complete maintenance records and relevant compliance documentation.
