South West Yorkshire Partnership NHS Trust in Wakefield is seeking an experienced Electrical technician to lead the installation, maintenance and repair of electrical systems across Fieldhead Hospital and associated sites. You will manage reactive and planned work, follow HTMs and safety standards, and participate in an on‑call rota for emergencies.

The role is based on a 37.5 hour week at Band 5 with responsibilities across hospitals in the trust footprint, including Kendray and Cheswold

Competenze

• Experience in installing, maintaining and inspecting electrical installations in healthcare settings.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and adapt to service needs.

Mansioni

• Maintain all electrical equipment to a high standard and ensure safety compliance.
• Carry out repairs and PPM on a daily basis to keep buildings safe and compliant with HTMs and British standards.
• Work from drawings and adapt as necessary to resolve issues.
• Be part of an on-call rota for emergency repairs/out of hours.
