Job summary

Nestlé UK is recruiting an electrically biased Maintenance Technician for our Bromborough site on the Wirral. The role focuses on safe, high-quality maintenance of plant assets, including preventative, predictive and breakdown work to support production performance and product quality.

The position offers a 42-hour week with occasional night shifts (circa 36–42 per year) and a one-year fixed-term contract. You will report to the Maintenance Lead Technician and carry out root-cause analysis,

Qualifications

• Time-served engineering apprenticeship or ONC/HNC in Electrical Engineering.
• Electrically biased; a mechanical bias is a bonus but not essential.
• Working knowledge of H&S, environmental requirements and legislation.
• Ability to problem-solve and drive proactive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Root cause analysis of technical problems.
• Providing both planned and reactive maintenance solutions across plant.
• Maintenance of packaging and process equipment.
• Generation, completion and return of work orders.
• Participate and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
