Jaxdene Solutions Limited is assisting a client with an Electrical Engineer role on a 4 on/4 off, 12‑hour days shift at a fast-paced manufacturing site.
You will perform PPM, diagnose faults across PLC/SCADA systems, modify control panels, and support safety and quality procedures while maintaining records and collaborating with maintenance teams.
Applicants should have NVQ Level 3 in engineering, 18th Edition preferred, and 5 years’ experience in similar settings.
My client is a leading Anaerobic Digestion business, with multiple sites across the region. As a privately owned business, they have grown quickly over the last 10 years and continue to be a major innovator of CHP, Biomethane and Carbon Capture processes, supplying energy to customers across the UK.
As an Electrical Engineer working on a shift rotation, your role will be to carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and responding to breakdowns across the manufacturing facility. Working closely with other departments on a variety of projects and process improvements.
Ideally you will have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role within a fast‑paced manufacturing or engineering environment. You will need to have strong technical knowledge, ideally with knowledge of PLC systems, I/O fault finding, SCADA, 11Kv switchgear and electrical testing.
In terms of qualifications, you will need to be NVQ Level 3 in an engineering discipline, apprentice trained or possess equivalent vocational experience. 18th Edition qualification is preferred, but not essential.
As an engineer, you will possess strong fault‑finding and problem‑solving skills, have a proactive, reliable, and hands‑on approach and be able to work both independently and as part of a team.
4 on/4 off – 12 hour Days
Salary and package are dependent on experience, but will highly competitive, depending on experience. Benefits include 20 days plus bank holidays, PPE, Pension Scheme and relevant training.
