Job summary

MarchesBiogas, based in Ludlow, is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to support day-to-day maintenance of anaerobic digestion plants across the UK. You will carry out electrical maintenance on AD plants and assist in setting up related systems, ensuring safe operations and compliance with site procedures.

The role requires 18th Edition Electrical, knowledge of PLC hardware/software, and the ability to diagnose faults, maintain feeding and pumping systems, and complete required

Qualifications

• 18thEdition Electrical
• CompExF and01-04 Electrical (Desirable)
• Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and other systems
• Knowledge ofElectrical Panel Components,PLC Hardware and Software, Electrical Building Services (desirable)
• Working knowledge of tools, commonappliances and devices
• Manual dexterity andproblem solvingskills
• Hold a fulldrivinglicense

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical maintenance on anaerobic digestion plants throughout the United Kingdom
• Monitoring and diagnosing problems with the use of the plant operation system
• Assist in the set up of the associated systems and conduct repairs / adjustments when necessary
• Maintain feeding, heating and pumping systems to ensure correct and efficient operation
• Inspect and test alarm and functionality systems
• Follow safe systems of work and procedures
• Keep client sites clean and tidy
• Complete paperwork as required by the Maintenance Manager
• Take samples as required and advised by the Biological Support Team

Main Purpose of the job:

Toassistwith the day-to-day planned preventative maintenance andfunctionalityrequirements of operating anaerobic digesters.
