Job summary

Proslipsi Recruitment Specialist is seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician for a varied role in the manufacturing sector. The role requires maintenance and installation experience across multiple sites.

On offer is a £49k basic salary with significant overtime, life insurance, a company pension, healthcare, and a software group growth context. Working days feature an early finish on Fridays, with an on-call rota as required.

Qualifications

• An experienced electrical maintenance engineer with a mechanical aptitude.
• Experience of panel building and installation work.
• Confident and able to join an out-of-hours on-call rota.
• PLC literate with competency to complete PPM schedules.
• Experience of fixed wire testing and instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Cover production needs regarding engineering issues and breakdowns.
• Conduct routine test and inspection of electrical systems and portable appliances.
• Undertake maintenance activities in compliance with ISO and customer specifications.
• Reduce maintenance costs where possible and use PPM to reduce unplanned maintenance.
• Work as part of the group maintenance team covering four sites.
• Assist Engineering Manager with ongoing and new projects.
• Ability to participate in mechanical maintenance work when necessary.
• Work as part of a team and optimise company performance and reduce downtime.
