Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Operative to support electrical installation, maintenance, testing and fault diagnosis across multiple sites in the Burton End area.

You will read and follow technical drawings, carry out testing and repairs, and use test equipment safely while adhering to lockout/tagout procedures and high safety standards.

The role offers varied, hands-on work with opportunities to develop electrical knowledge within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of electrical systems, plant and controls.
• Ability to read and follow technical drawings and maintenance instructions.
• Self-motivated, well-organised and able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Complete electrical installations and support wiring tasks across site activities.
• Carry out electrical testing, fault diagnosis, repairs and updates to maintenance orders.
• Use test equipment safely and understand instrument limits.
• Follow lockout/tagout procedures and avoid live work at all times.
