Job summary

Mitie seeks a Multi Skilled Engineer - Electrical bias to support electrical installation, maintenance, testing and fault diagnosis across various sites. You will complete wiring, calibrations and alignments, and ensure jobs are performed safely and to high standards.

The role requires reading technical drawings, following procedures, and applying lockout/tagout protocols. You will work both independently and as part of a team, contributing to quality service for Mitie and its customers.

Qualifications

• Qualified to BS 7671 18th Edition in Electrical Installations.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, plant, controls and safe working practices.
• Ability to read and follow technical drawings, procedures and maintenance instructions accurately.

Responsibilities

• Complete electrical installations and support tradespeople with wiring, calibration and alignment tasks across a range of site-based activities.
• Carry out electrical testing, fault diagnosis, repairs and updates to maintenance work orders in line with operational requirements.
• Use appropriate test equipment, tools and materials safely, ensuring their limitations are understood and applied correctly.
• Follow lockout/tagout procedures at all times, ensuring no live working is undertaken under any circumstances.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping, work safely across all tasks and actively participate in toolbox talks and safety briefings.
