Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Operative to support installation, maintenance and repair tasks across multiple sites.

The role involves working independently and with teams on planned and remedial works while strictly following health and safety regulations on static sites. The ideal candidate is qualified to BS 7671 (18th Edition) and comfortable with reading technical drawings, carrying out testing, and complying with lockout/tagout procedures.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of electrical systems, plant and controls.
• Ability to read and follow technical drawings and procedures.
• Self-motivated, well-organised and eager to learn.
• Respectful, professional and confident in raising safety concerns.

Responsibilities

• Complete electrical installations and assist tradespeople with wiring, calibration, and alignment tasks.
• Carry out testing, fault diagnosis, repairs and updates to maintenance work orders.
• Complete reactive and PPM tasks as instructed.
• Adhere to H&S procedures and policies and site rules.
