Yolk Recruitment Ltd is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Engineer to join a busy site in Wales. You will perform reactive and planned maintenance across equipment, ensuring uptime and reliability while working closely with production teams.

The role requires an engineering qualification and strong fault-finding abilities. Candidates should be proactive, able to work independently, and comfortable documenting activities. A background in regulated environments is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a maintenance engineering role.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving ability.
• Comfortable working on-site with hands-on tasks.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage workload independently.
• Experience in regulated manufacturing environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out reactive maintenance and general repairs across the site.
• Delivering planned preventative maintenance to minimise downtime.
• Supporting the installation and commissioning of new machinery.
• Working closely with production teams to reduce disruption.
• Maintaining accurate maintenance records and documentation.
• Upholding health, safety, and environmental standards at all times.
• Contributing to continuous improvement and lean initiatives.
• Supporting investigations and risk assessments where required.
