Job summary

CV Technical in North West England is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to maintain, repair and install production machinery and site services. You will be responsible for reactive breakdowns, planned maintenance, and project work to maximise machine reliability and minimise downtime on site.

The role requires an electrically biased, multi-skilled engineer with Level 2/3 Engineering qualifications and a time-served apprenticeship.

Qualifications

An electrically biased multi-skilled engineering background.
Level 2 and Level 3 Engineering qualifications.
A completed time-served apprenticeship.
18th Edition (desirable).
Experience working with three-phase electrical systems and 24V control circuits.
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work independently.
Experience within manufacturing, plastics, injection moulding or a similar industrial environment would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

Carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance on production machinery.
Diagnose and repair electrical faults quickly and effectively.
Install and commission new machinery and equipment.
Support continuous improvement and engineering projects.
Maintain site electrical systems and associated equipment.
Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with company procedures.
Work collaboratively with production to maximise equipment uptime.
Complete maintenance documentation and reports accurately.
