Job summary

Hunter Selection is seeking an Electrical maintenance engineer for a days-based role in mid Wales. You will join a well-established maintenance team, offering job security, overtime opportunities, and weekends off to enjoy the lifestyle.

The role involves maintaining plant equipment, supporting production with electrical issues, and driving safety and quality improvements. Training and development are encouraged in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

HNC/HND/BTEC in electrical engineering; post-apprenticeship experience in food manufacturing would be beneficial.
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment would be advantageous.
18th Edition training is necessary
Excellent organisational skills with ability to plan workloads effectively to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

Ensuring plant equipment is operated and functioning in the correct manner.
Maintaining equipment on a daily basis to ensure it is fit for its intended purpose.
Ensuring appropriate housekeeping standards are maintained on a daily basis.
Continually developing to improve operations to drive improvements in quality, cost and safety.
Assisting production with electrical problems and setups, providing relevant training when appropriate.
Completing daily maintenance check sheets and job cards
