Job summary

OBR GROUP LIMITED in South Yorkshire is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to keep production machinery operating safely, reliably and efficiently. You will perform planned preventative maintenance, diagnose faults and repair equipment to minimise downtime, with a focus on PLC-controlled automation.

Qualifications

Minimum recognised electrical qualification.
Experience in manufacturing or FMCG environment.
Strong fault-finding on automated machinery.

Responsibilities

Carry out preventative and reactive maintenance on production equipment.
Respond to electrical breakdowns and diagnose faults.
Fault find on motors, drives, control panels, sensors, relays, and electrical systems.
Work with PLC-controlled equipment and automation systems.
Support continuous improvement to improve reliability and performance.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure health and safety compliance.
Collaborate with mechanical engineers, production teams and management.
