Job summary

JLL in Worthing is seeking a Static / Mobile Electrical Maintenance Engineer to support Beckton Dickinson facilities in Winnersh, Crawley and Worthing. The role focuses on reactive maintenance, PPM tasks and ensuring building services operate reliably.

The candidate will perform electrical diagnostics, maintain control systems, and contribute to health and safety compliance with the JLL and BD protocols. A strong mechanical and fabric maintenance background is beneficial.

Qualifications

NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation (or equivalent) is required.
C&G Level 2/3 Diploma in Electrical Installation or equivalent qualification.
C&G 2391/2394/2395 Inspection and Testing qualification.
18th Edition BS 7671 certificate (current).
IPAF 3a/3b certification for MEWP.
PASMA certification for access equipment.

Responsibilities

Deliver reactive maintenance and repairs across Beckton Dickinson facilities (Winnersh, Crawley, Worthing).
Execute planned preventative maintenance (PPM) including emergency lighting, fire alarm tests, and electrical inspections.
Perform electrical wiring fault diagnosis and repairs; maintain lighting, sockets and BMS systems.
Conduct basic fabric, plumbing, carpentry tasks to support operations.
Update and close CAFM work orders; maintain site logbooks and regulatory audit trails.
Produce technical reports and certification documentation; ensure compliance with regulations.
Attend call-outs and provide 24/7 building services support as required.
