Job summary

JLL is seeking an experienced Static Electrical Maintenance Engineer for the Agilent Church Stretton site. The role requires delivering reactive and preventive maintenance on building services, with emphasis on electrical systems, alarms, lighting, and BMS controls.

The candidate will perform minor fabric repairs, maintain documentation, and ensure compliance with H&S and site procedures. Flexibility for shifts, weekends, and continuous CPD is expected.

Qualifications

• Qualified to electrical installation standards (NVQ/C&G).
• Experience maintaining commercial electrical systems in offices.
• Familiar with BMS, emergency lighting, fire alarm testing and IT/CAFM systems.
• Knowledge of health & safety legislation and risk assessment.
• Ability to perform minor mechanical/plumbing tasks and fabric repairs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver reactive maintenance and repairs to the Agilent Church Stretton site.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance including lighting, fire alarm and electrical testing.
• Diagnose faults and repair electrical and lighting systems and related equipment.
• Carry out minor fabric, plumbing and carpentry tasks to support operations.
• Procure parts and manage procurement procedures for tasks.
• Update and close work orders on CAFM and maintain accurate logbooks.
• Produce technical reports and certifications for completed works.
• Follow site protocols and health & safety policies at all times.
• Provide emergency response coverage as required by the SLA.
• Collaborate with other trades to deliver integrated facilities maintenance.
