Job summary

JLL is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Operative to join our team in a busy shopping centre. You will perform planned and reactive electrical maintenance, log activities in CAFM, and coordinate with engineers and clients to uphold safety and service quality.

The role requires strong building services knowledge, formal electrical qualifications, and flexibility to work standby and weekends as part of a rolling rota. On-site work in Bristol with a team-focused, safety-driven environment.

Qualifications

Substantial practical experience with building services across electrical disciplines.
City & Guilds Level 3 Certificate in Electrical and NVQ Level 3 in Electrical are required.
18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671) and AM2 qualification are essential.

Responsibilities

Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance, liaising with engineers, subcontractors and clients.
Ensure compliance with risk management procedures and complete documentation, including CAFM updates.
Support standby rota for emergency calls outside normal hours.
Maintain high standards across electrical and building services systems and report issues clearly.
