Job summary

JLL is seeking a Static Electrical Maintenance Engineer for the Agilent Church Stretton site. The role focuses on reactive and planned electrical maintenance, with responsibilities extending to mechanical, plumbing, and fabric tasks to ensure uptime.

You will manage CAFM work orders, generate reports, and maintain safety and QA standards on site. The position requires relevant electrical qualifications and experience, with flexibility for site duties and potential after-hours coverage.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation is required.
• C&G Level 2/3 Diploma in Electrical Installation or equivalent is required.
• C&G 2391/2394/2395 Inspection and Testing qualifications are required.
• 18th Edition BS 7671 Wiring Regulations certification is required.
• IPAF 3a/3b certification preferred.
• PASMA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver reactive maintenance and repair services across the Agilent Church Stretton facility, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Execute planned preventative maintenance schedules including emergency lighting tests, fire alarm testing, distribution board inspections, and BMS troubleshooting.
• Perform electrical maintenance tasks including wiring fault diagnosis, emergency lighting, socket installations, and water heater maintenance.
• Conduct basic mechanical, plumbing, carpentry, and fabric maintenance tasks to support operations.
• Update and close work orders in the CAFM system; maintain site logbooks for regulatory compliance.
• Produce detailed technical reports and issue certificates for completed works.
• Develop site-specific method statements and risk assessments prior to tasks.
• Uphold engineering standards to maximise reliability of building services; adhere to QA and safety policies.
