Job summary
Synergi Search & Select Ltd is recruiting an Electrical Maintenance Engineer for a large, well-invested heavy industrial site in Leicester. You will carry out planned and reactive maintenance on automated production equipment, perform fault finding on electrical systems, and work on Siemens S7 PLCs to keep plant performance high.
The role offers £55,000–£58,000, plus a bonus, 15% pension contribution and opportunities for ongoing training and long-term career progression in a stable
Qualifications
- Electrical fault-finding and maintenance experience in heavy industry.
- Experience with automated production equipment and PLCs.
- Safety-focused approach to maintenance and problem solving.
Responsibilities
- Planned and reactive maintenance across a heavy industrial facility.
- Electrical fault finding on automated machinery and plant equipment.
- Maintain and troubleshoot electrical control panels.
- PLC fault finding, with a focus on Siemens S7 systems.
- Support site reliability and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Minimise downtime and maximise plant performance.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with standards.
