Job summary

Synergi Search & Select Ltd in Andover is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a leading UK manufacturer. You will perform electrical, controls and basic mechanical maintenance across production lines, with a 3-shift rotation and a focus on reducing downtime.

Qualifications

• Apprentice-trained electrical maintenance engineer, with a /NVQ3 in electrical engineering or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of PLC control system architecture and field devices.
• Experience with CMMS systems and production maintenance processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical, controls, and basic mechanical maintenance including planned and reactive maintenance.
• Record all relevant data and refurbishment/overhauls as required.
• Support operations by developing training materials.
• Collaborate with other teams to identify and solve problems.
• Continually improve equipment maintenance strategies.
• Analyse PLC faults and diagnose external faults using software tools.
