Synergi Search & Select Ltd is recruiting an Electrical Maintenance Engineer for a large, well-invested heavy industrial site in Leicester. You will carry out planned and reactive maintenance on automated production equipment, perform fault finding on electrical systems, and work on Siemens S7 PLCs to keep plant performance high.

The role offers £55,000–£58,000, plus a bonus, 15% pension contribution and opportunities for ongoing training and long-term career progression in a stable

The Role

As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Planned and reactive maintenance across a heavy industrial production facility.
• Electrical fault finding on automated machinery and plant equipment.
• Maintaining and troubleshooting electrical control panels.
• PLC fault finding, with a particular focus on Siemens S7 systems.
• Supporting site reliability and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Minimising downtime and maximising plant performance.
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with engineering standards.

What We're Looking For

• Recognised Electrical Engineering qualification.
• Strong electrical fault-finding skills.
• Previous experience within manufacturing, heavy industry, processing, recycling, steel, aggregates, building products, FMCG or similar environments.
• Experience working with industrial control systems and control panels.
• Siemens S7 PLC experience.
• A proactive and safety-focused approach to maintenance.
